Beautiful book to enhance your life

In my mind I am an awesome yogi who can do all sorts of complicated poses. I'm not there yet but with practice and help I will be. I have a few yoga books and this is my favorite one. Candace has such strength and flexibility that it's #goals. Her book humorously details her painful struggles to get to that points so her practice is also very inspiring.
If your looking for clear cut practical advice on how to get into poses safely this book is perfect. I also recommend checking out her blog because it's been instrumental to my growth. The book itself is sturdy enough so that to you won't fear you'll damage it by taking it in your bag as a reference. It is also beautifully shot so you could have a great coffee table book to inspire you. She provides Sanskrit names, modifications, and sequences so you can have a home practice.
It's really a great book and I recommend getting it if you have even the slightest interest in starting or enhancing your yoga practice.

Highly recommended for yogis of all types

Having been following Candace on her blog, Yoga By Candace, I was super excited about this book. It lived up to my expectations and I am so in love with all the stories and pictures inside. Candace does any amazing job of showing off yoga poses in a "Do This, Not That" way that helps one understand correct alignments. The book weaves together Candace's story of overcoming Lyme disease and how she developed the idea of her blog and book. This was my first every yoga book I have read and it will definitely be used quite often I am sure!

I have been excited about this book since Candace announced it. It is a beautiful book that covers everything from props and how to use them properly (with fab pics), to meditation, sequencing, poses, and her story! There is picture after picture for each post with details of how your form should be for the pose. This book is for anyone from a beginner to someone gearing up for yoga teacher training (like me) or someone wanting to deepen their practice. I'm so happy I bought this!
