A compelling and fast moving book that unveils the real story about Paul VI and how the Vatican confederacy used him to advance their own progressivist designs. It brings into focus the hidden plan to alter the liturgy before Pope Paul was elected, and presents the facts concerning the true origin of the modern Mass and how the pope actually fought against this. It exposes the faces and profiles behind the untold plot to censor and forge Pope Paul's mail, and presents forensic evidence to substantiate the allegations that Paul VI was drugged while an impersonator misrepresented him before the public. In addition, this book cites the many accomplishments of Paul VI, and shows the extraordinary extent he went to in proselytizing the public even before he was pope. It also quotes from his many speeches and letters and features a chapter just on his "Humanae Vitae," held by many to be a spiritual milestone of the 20th century. In this manner it provides a timely meditation during the present crisis which he labored so assiduously to avert. Riveting! Hard Hitting! Bound to captivate!

Interesting book but a few reservations.
By Tyrone Hill
The mystery of Pope Paul VI is quite interesting to read. Many in the traditional camp look upon him as the man who opened the door to the diabolical disorientation of the Catholic Church. Since 1962 the Church has been clobbered by one problem after another, mostly from within, but also from without. Paul VI, in the view of some, led the way for the self-demolition of the Church by giving his blessing to the many ambiguities and abuses unleashed by the 2nd Vatican Council. While acknowledging the sad state of affairs in the Church these past 50 years, the author, David Martin, mostly treats Paul VI as a hero, however, one who was maliciously used by rogues in the system and unfairly made to take the blame for many of the evils perpetrated during and after the Council. I like the part of the book that mentions the great modern day saint, Padre Pio (d. 1968), and his support of Paul VI, whom he referred to in a letter as "the Supreme Teacher of all Christianity". I also like the idea of Paul VI having almost single-handedly laid the foundation for the international pro-life movement with his masterful papal encyclical, "Humanae Vitae".

For me, there are three disappointing things in this book. Firstly, the author's misrepresentation of "Memoriale Domini," the 1969 official Church document which provided the Indult (exception) to allow the world-wide reception of Holy Communion in the hand during Mass. The author seems to say that the permission for communion in the hand came shortly thereafter despite the document and not because of it (see p. 56). Secondly, the author's use of messages of the seer, Veronica Lueken, of the notorious Bayside, NY Marian apparition, to promote his thesis about Paul VI's innocence amidst the many evils in the Vatican Church. The bishop of Brooklyn, in whose diocese the alleged apparitions occurred, had denounced the Bayside apparitions and proclaimed them harmful to the Church. (See the Bayside Wikipedia article.) Thirdly, the author sites Malachi Martin (d. 1999) a Jesuit priest who became a secular priest in 1965 and lived out his life as a writer in NYC. Martin seemed to have a lot of "skeletons" in his closet, so to speak, and I think it was unwise of the author to use Martin as a source (on p. 59).

I wish more people would look into the "issues" concerning the post-Vatican II Church because it does seem like the Great Apostasy is happening now. Slowly but surely the many-centuries-old patrimony and tradition of the one true Church of Jesus Christ is being undermined, to the great detriment of the whole world.

Pure filth and fiction. The inaccuracies are too many to mention. What a disservice to the memory of PPVI this author has done. He should be ashamed ! No one should waste their money or time on this piece of tripe. I'm very sorry I did !
